Jinx
A merciful soul picked up from the streets only about a month
old little gray kitten that was born at the beginning of the
October 2007. For the first couple of days nobody dared to
predict whether a kitten that was chilled, undernourished and
full of parasites will survive. But as a true catty fighter she
pulled through. I met Jinx at her rescuer and she jinxed me
immediately (and earned her name with that). So she came to live
with us that she could teach us, ignorants, about a feline way
of life. She got to the business right away and showed people
and dogs that a cat and her will should be respected by all
means. Jinx is a bit skittish and not very confident cat. She
takes the contacts with the surroundings on her own terms,
everything else she accompanies with loud disapproval.
Fleka
I've already
thought for a while, that Jinx really needs company, when one
freezing Saturday evening on January 2009 a friend called me
about a very friendly young white cat that she found on the
street. After she defrosted, had enough to eat and a good sleep,
about six months old cat fitted herself into the family in
a great style and got herself comfortable right away.
Unfortunately her curious and confident nature got herself in
trouble soon. A close encounter with Grom almost cost her an eye
and left her with a permanent injury. Lucky enough that doesn't
bother her at all with her adventures. Fleka is a cat that makes
clear even to a hardened "dog person" why actually people love
cats. She can't be rejected when she place herself into you lap
and purrs in your ear with content. |
