Dina was
born on 2nd of February 1997. Her mother was a tricolor American cocker
spaniel without pedigree and the father was some village tramp. We took
her because nobody else wanted her, because Grina got old and we knew
that she won't be with us much longer and because my father found Dina
so cute with a white marking across her rump (like there would be a
shirt picking out of her pants). We were quite worried how Grina would
accept a new family member, but sadly shortly before Dina's arrival she
got sick and perished, so they never met.
Dina is a
real sweetheart and despite her tremendous energy and pronounced hunting
instinct she's the happiest when she can be somewhere warm and close to
one of her people. She likes to take sunbath even in the middle of
summer. She likes water and takes a great pleasure soaking herself in
the shoal or swim shortly. She adores snow but because of her long soft
hair she get snowballs allover her legs and belly, which makes it really
hard for her to walk around. She's very healthy bitch. Except some miner
troubles with her ears she was only sick once (gastritis). She was
spayed after her first heat.
After we
fought the tumors for more than half of a year, we said goodbye to our
Dina at 2nd of November 2007.
